How to Play Blitza Match: A UNO-Style Online Card Game
Blitza Match is Playgridia's take on the UNO-style online card game everyone knows. Play it with 2–4 players or bots — the goal is simple: be the first to empty your hand. No download, no sign-up, straight in your browser.
The Basic Rules
Every player starts with 7 cards. On your turn you play a card that matches the top card's color or number. If you have no playable card, you draw from the deck; if the drawn card is playable, it's your choice to play it now or keep it in hand.
- Play a card of the same color or the same number/symbol onto the center card.
- If you have no playable card, draw from the deck.
- Whoever empties their hand first wins.
Action and Wild Cards
The special cards are what make the game exciting:
- Skip (Ø): jumps the next player.
- Reverse (⇄): flips the direction of play; with 2 players you play again.
- +2: the next player draws 2 cards — but if you hold a +2 you can add it to the chain! The penalty grows +4, +6, +8, and whoever breaks the chain draws it all.
- Wild: you choose the color. The +4 Wild picks a color and makes the next player draw 4 cards.
Winning Tactics
- Save your +2 cards: when a rival plays a +2, stacking your own grows the penalty instead of breaking the chain.
- Keep your colors balanced: if you're stuck on one color, you'll draw the moment a rival switches it.
- Hold the Wild for last: a Wild final card lets you pick any color and close your hand.
- Watch hand counts: stop a player down to one card with a Skip or +2.
