How to Play Rapid Archers: A Turn-Based Archery Game Guide
Rapid Archers is a competitive 3v3 version of a top-down, turn-based archery game. Your 3 archers stand at the bottom, the opponent's 3 directly across at the top, with an impassable buffer zone in the middle. The goal: take down all the opponent's archers. Core Gameplay
Each turn you can move 1 archer and fire with 1 archer — the same or a different one, your choice. To aim, pull your finger back from the archer like a slingshot: set direction and power, release = fire. The trajectory preview shows where the arrow lands; if a tower blocks the path, the line turns red.
- Pick your archer and tap empty ground in the green range ring to walk.
- Pull back to set direction + power, then release to fire.
- Whoever takes down all the enemy archers wins.
Races and Range
The three races differ in range and mobility — position your team accordingly:
- Elf: the longest range and most precise, but the least mobile — stays back and aims.
- Human: balanced range and movement.
- Orc: short range but the most mobile and durable; must close in or climb a tower. Towers raise your firing height → your range extends and you clear obstacles.
Wind and the 6 Arrow Abilities
Wind changes every turn and pushes the arrow sideways, so set power and direction to match. Six arrows cover every situation:
- Piercing Shot: flat and fast (can't hit behind a tower).
- Arc Arrow: a high arc that clears the tower.
- Rain Arrow: drops steeply to hit an archer at a tower's base.
- Multi-Arrow: scatters in the air, great against clustered targets.
- Siege Arrow: smashes a tower to take the opponent's range advantage.
- Straight Arrow: the always-ready basic shot.
