Minesweeper Online 2-Player — Play Free | Playgridia

Classic Minesweeper is no longer solo — it's now head-to-head. In the 2-player online version of Minesweeper, you open cells in turn, score as you find mines, and try to beat your rival. No download, no sign-up — entirely in the browser and free.

How do you play?

On your turn you click a cell. If there's a mine under it, you score +1 and keep the turn; if it's empty, the cell opens and the turn passes to your rival. Numbers show how many mines are in the neighboring cells — use logic to find the safe move. Whoever finds the most mines wins.

What makes 2-player different

  • Competition: You race your rival on the same board; every correct flag pushes you ahead.
  • 3×3 bombing: When the score gap widens, a power that opens a 3×3 area in one move unlocks.
  • Bonus move: If your rival opens empty cells in a row, you earn an extra move.
  • Everywhere: Phone or computer, a browser is enough.

Tactics

Don't click at random; start from the numbers that give certain information and compare neighboring cells to flag safe mines. Push the score gap to 5 to unlock 3×3 bombing — finding several mines in one move can turn the game.
