Chain mines to keep your turn
The single most important rule: when you tap a cell hiding a mine you score +1 and keep your turn. Tap an empty cell and it reveals a number, then passes the turn to your opponent. Your goal is to string mine hits together and run up a long chain.
- Only click when sure: pick cells you're confident hide a mine — every hit is both a point and a fresh move.
- Compare the clues: a "1" means exactly one mine touches that cell; overlap neighbouring numbers to pin down where a mine must be.
Flags, edges and power-ups
Every mine you claim is planted automatically in your own flag colour — blue for the first player, red for the second — so a glance at the board shows exactly who found what. There is no free "mark", though: every tap is committed, so only click a cell once you are sure. Edges and corners have fewer neighbours, so their numbers are easier to solve — start there.
- Time the Square Bomb: a 3×3 Square-Bomb power-up unlocks when the score gap reaches 5. When you're behind, drop it on a dense cluster to scoop up several mines at once.
- Grab the bonus move: if your opponent opens three empty cells in a row, you earn a bonus move — don't waste it.
