Play Gold Miner Online — a 2-Player Mining Duel

The classic gold miner claw game, rebuilt as a head-to-head duel: two miners share one shaft and take turns dropping the claw on gold, diamonds and power-ups. One drag does everything — the claw follows your finger and its lamp sweeps with it, so aiming and scouting are the same motion. Free in the browser, against a friend or a bot.

A match is 12 turns — six each, equal chances — and the mine restocks between turns, so there is always a diamond worth fighting for and no early lead decides the game on its own.

Gold Miner Tips: Depth, Combos and the Scissors

The shaft is dark and the lamp rides the claw, so aiming and scanning are one action. But nothing stays lit: a mineral only shows its true form while the beam is ON it, and the moment you sweep past, it is an anonymous "?" again. Gold and TNT look identical until you light them — what you found is something you have to remember.

Valuables hauled back to back build a streak worth ×1.5, then ×2, then ×3, and a find in the bottom of the shaft pays up to 60% more. A scissors pickup lets you cut your rival's rope mid-haul and drop their prize back into the dirt — and if you fall behind, a comeback bonus makes your valuable pulls worth up to 40% more.

Weight, Timing and Turn Management

Everything has weight: small nuggets fly up, big nuggets, skulls and rocks crawl. A heavy pull that outlives your timer drops the mineral right where it hangs, and a TNT barrel wipes out everything around it — sometimes that is a weapon rather than a hazard.

A turn is as many drops as you can fit, and the clock never stops for you — the claw never moves on its own, it holds whatever angle you leave it at, so the last seconds are about deciding fast rather than waiting for a swing. Save your speed power-up for something deep and heavy, and spend the shallow moments on quick gold to keep your combo alive.
